Nigeria's Tony Elumelu funds 1,000 African entrepreneurs

Hope you are all having a great week. We are proud to share some good news with you all. Our founder Biro Conde has been awarded as one of the most promising young entrepreneurs in Africa by the Tony Elumelu foundation for our innovative platform iFrica360 set to launch in the summer 2015. Biro will be one of 5 entrepreneurs representing Guinea at the Elumelu Entrepreneurship Forum in Nigeria to showcase the startup to a global audience of entrepreneurs, incubators, corporation, governments and investors.

See the BBC press release bellow: Nigerian billionaire Tony Elumelu has decided to fund 1,000 budding African entrepreneurs as part of a $100m initiative to boost the continent's private sector. Mr Elumelu said the entrepreneurs were Africa's "hope for the future". The 1,000 come from 52 African states and territories and were chosen from some 20,000 applicants
